Abstract

     This report examines the issue of the abuse of technology by taking a close look at humanity.  Psychological factors are presented that lead human beings to behavior that result in the abuse of technology and the destruction of humanity.  The development of humanity is outlined while showing the vital role technology plays in its development and potential destruction.  Some solutions are suggested that will aid in the further development of humanity and lead to constructive uses of technology.
